On track for Graduation
Many times a symptom of a troubled youth is a pattern of struggling in school. When teenagers are in a downward spiral it affects all aspects of their life including academics. Daybreak Canyon provides your son the help he needs while catching up or even moving ahead, academically.
In alliance with Park City Independent, we have designed a unique academic program that helps students continue their education while residing in our Residential Treatment Center. Park City Independent is a leading provider of high school and junior high curriculum.
Through P.C.I, students have the opportunity to complete the high school graduation requirements and receive a high school diploma as well as the opportunity to earn academic credit that can be transferred to a local school.
Academic Solutions:
- Accredited Courses and Diploma Program
- Structured Credit Recovery Model
- Least Restrictive Environment for Special Needs Students
- Differentiated Instruction and Individual Academic Plans
- Self-Paced Courses: Daybreak Canyon uses an innovative school schedule that allows students to work on school multiple times a day, 7 days a week, during designated study hall times. Students are rewarded within the therapeutic milieu and level system for getting school work done on time or early
- Classes over supervised onsite at Daybreak Canyon by an Idaho Certified Teacher with oversight by our experienced Principal.
